<p>This course teaches Network Rail Train Running Controllers (TRC) and Shift Signalling Managers (SSM) how to operate and apply the Luminate Traffic Management System. &nbsp;(Luminate).<br /> This system was introduced as part of the Digital Railway Programme, to support more efficient service recovery and more use of available infrastructure.<br /> Learners will understand how the system enables staff to make informed planning and re-planning decisions, in conjunction with other data sources such as ITPS for timetable information, TRUST arrival<br /> time forecasts and IECC Scalable for train movements and positional information.</p>
